Ourselves We Lose – Guest Post by Jennifer

The denial we live in

The consuming self loathe

The words left unsaid

The ‘we’ll talk about it later’

The right kind of wrong

The memories that murder

The misery we find in others

The misery we keep to ourselves

Our futures playing out in the way we wish it wouldn’t.

The control we reach for

While, ourselves we lose
